Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks a lot for the reply comintel, somehow I completely missed that part.
It is a very busy chart so it is easy to miss an entry.

I have 2 lines that will end on apr 30th. I want to port out temporary to TMobile and back to sprint the next day with spouse SSN. Is it possible to port out only 1 line to try or do I have to port them both at the same time? Thanks

I've done the port out of Sprint and port into T-mobile twice in the last couple of days and the online process for T-mobile is wonky. I had to call in to have T-mobile set up my account and they charged me twice for the $3 pay as you go plan. Once that was complete I immediately called Sprint and ported over with no problem. I've got 2 more lines to port over to T-mobile and back to Sprint but I'm not going to even bother trying online. After calling in they have to setup a new account for me in both cases so the online process was canceled out. Has anyone had success with the T-mobile online? Just trying to minimize my time with this.

Re: End date of 4/4.

I just checked with a SlickDeals source (whom I will not identify) and learned that the end signup date of 4/4 was provided by Sprint's Business Team to SlickDeals' Business team.

"The official end date to sign-up for this offer is 4/4/19 (and will not be extended again,,,promotion discount will be retired in full on 4/30/2020."

That is, in fact, why SlickDeals moved this deal back to FrontPage Deals.

Nothing has come along since then to SlickDeals to change that information.

So, it is my opinion that the date of 4/4 will indeed be the end of the signup period for this offer.

Just as a footnote of my own, there could possibly be a minor extension for signups already under way, judging by past experience with other Sprint offers.

On the phone with them now, the rep says the SIM for the LG G5 is OOS.

I ported out a Moto E4 to T-Mobile off my wife's account and ported it back in on my account (different SSN). Sprint says that the port was successful, but I only have data, no talk and no text. The time period between the port out and port back in was a couple hours.
I spent hours on the phone with Sprint yesterday to no avail. I'm calling them back today and will try again. They indicated that it is not Sprint, it is the phone. They suggested a factory reset of the phone.

Any thoughts on a plan of action?

Thanks!

No, it seems to be broken. I tried one line the day before yesterday and one line yesterday. Initially the first rep said he could see the pending request but I was transferred to a porting specialist who said there was no pending request. After getting that first line and a few others ported in, in the interest of science I tried again online with a different number and was met with the same failure. I ended up calling in for that line as well. Got my (hopefully first of two) $3.31 refund today.

The sims needed are shown in the chart linked to in the Wiki and you can check if Best Buy has one in miscellaneous parts behind the counter. Or Ting may have stock. Or a Sprint corporate store but some will not sell to non-customers..

yes, better to do 1 at a time anyway. Just to make sure it goes smoothly. I just did my wife's a day ago, and will do mine sometime soon.

I think a good plan of action is to go to carrier settings and update device config and prl. If it still doesn't work do a network update, (*#*#72786#*#*)... Last resort is to back up everything and do a factory reset.

If I dont care about porting the number out, can I directly cancel a line? will Sprint release the IMEI from their database immediately so I can use another SSN to port in a new number with the same device?

You, sir, said the words "carrier settings" that the Sprint CSR did not and you solved my problem in 2 minutes. Thanks!
