Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yes still same thing when I place calls "Sprint is connecting you to a operator" ?
I haven't uninstalled Fi app, are you suggesting that is required? I would prefer to keep it and disable it if possible and Sprint should work right?
I tried some of the other suggestions like update prl update device config and reported back here - those two didn't help
Someone also posted a phone app command - not sure if that was in response to my question.
Did you try *#*#72786#*#*? If still a no go try disabling the Fi app. Dunno if any will work but these are good steps to try.

I was not linking to that post - I linked to a different one,.

"Got it fixed by requesting Project Fi support call me. They gave me a code to "dial-in" to switch networks."

Call Fi then.

It's obviously a Fi related issue.

Where do you find the OFFICIAL info that stated the promotion ends on 4/4/19. Sprint executive told me my plan would be starting 4/15/19 after i tried to switch back from the plan they signed me up by mistakes 4 months ago. ( Yes, i intended to sign up free BYOD plan but the stupid customer service signed me up to their Kickstarter plan! and getting help to correct the error was time consuming and impossible until i wrote to FCC).

I just want to make sure the Sprint executive was not bluffing.

Slickdeals states that it was given that information officially but non-publicly by Sprint.

If you do not believe SlickDeals and want public confirmation, check back on 4/4 or 4/5. If the offer does end on 4/4, there will likely be an extended period for signups already in progress.

By the way you could have fixed the problem more easily by posting here and we would have given you a contact who would have fixed it immediately ([email protected]) as she has similar problems for many others.

If you have it in writing, I would not worry. If not, I would suggest Chat with transcript turned on and ask for them to confirm that your accounted is noted accordingly. That way you have it in writing.

Haven't yet ported out from Sprint to T-Mobile, or haven't yet ported in to Sprint from T-Mobile?
If it is the former, and you are trying online, scan the last few pages of this thread. Online porting into T-Mobile seems to be a dead end, despite their still charging you and giving you confirmation numbers and accounts.
If your time is worth anything to you, say au revoir to the $15 and pursue the porting into tmo via phone call. Maybe get your numbers ported then deal with the $15 later.

I'll update the wiki if it isn't already to advise against online tmo porting.
Yeah, porting into T-mobile online was led me to the dead-end. It gave me account numbers and confirmation IDs, but nothing has actually happened yet. The numbers are still active with Sprint.

to be clear, the # have not ported from S to TM?

what happens when u call the #'s ?
what if anything rings?
what is recorded message?
what happens if u now check the S phones imei & S # on S checker
(ie as if u r starting new service?)

last few days , sporadic reports of TM ports of some working as intended & some having hicups, with. no clear resoultion.
The # have not ported from S -> TM. If we dial the numbers, they still ring on our sprint sims/phones, and the imei checker online says they're still registered with sprint.

here's a suspicion- I transferred 4 lines total; 1 then 2, then 1 (diff days, diff reps). the only times that I got charged $3, was when the account number was random, and NOT the 1+ph. When I didn't get charged $3, it was 1+ph.
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, the Tmobile rep wouldn't give me the account number during the 1st call. She said she would have to send me a verification text after the port was complete. But, I can't receive their texts, probably because I'm using a digital sim.

How did you guys & gals get your Tmobile prepaid account number when using a digital sim? Would it be 1+phone number since I didn't get charged the $3?

Squams' suspicion aligns with my experience thus far.

A bit of paranoid advice to people that have been unsuccessful with the online t-mobile port-al—
After all is said and done (you have called t-mobile and then Sprint and are back in with Sprint) don't use the same PIN as the original Sprint PIN that you provided to t-mobile online. That would suck if all these online port requests end up going through after we are all settled again! I know it's unlikely.

Thanks, Squam said the account number was 1+phone, but another user post 37823 said: The Tmobile account number for prepay will always be the phone number (no 1 in front of it), so you don't need to set up a Tmobile login...

Did your account number have a "1" in front?

The prior post that said it was always 1+phone number was wrong.

A zillion people have posted otherwise.

It can be either type.

edog11 did a survey of numerous posts.

It is generally:
- 1+number of you do not pay.
- A "random" account number of you do pay.

It is not complicated, people, to recognize that are two types. (It may, of course, be complicated to deal with the resulting problems this creates).

to prevent the hassle of the t-mobile e sim port dance, i purchased $1 H20 Wireless sims at Best Buy which includes their $30 plan for unlimited talk text and 6bg of data per month. so far i have transferred 2 numbers from sprint with no hiccups. i will line up my ducks to dive in for this most likely but hopefully not last round of the deal.
