Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

For anyone who setup a t-mobile pay-as-you-go to port out, were you able to immediately call sprint and setup a line? Or do you have to wait at all?

Called tmobile and was told you have to wait 24+ hours to access the web account to check account details, but I did confirm the phone number is valid and ready to use...

TIA
If your imei checks out good with Sprint then yes

With the pending 4/4 end date approaching, the next 4 days are gonna be chaos, just plain chaos with porting issues and signing up...we already have seen t-mobile online porting issues for a week because they do not care ,but then the phone reps get the business, so I don't know how that helps t-mobile. Maybe online site just overwhelmed, no more, no less.
Good insight!

As to TMB, I think BOTH are probably true. They got overwhelmed and they don't care, in view of the fact they are probably losing money on all these quick-in quick-out ports!

In fact I suspect TMB complained to Sprint about this offer in general. Some TMB dealers were telling people it had already been cut off insofar as porting from TMB to the Sprint free plan. Maybe that promise is being delivered upon, one way or another:

Sprint to TMB: "No problem, we were about to cut it off anyway..."

If you don't have much time I would buy the H20 sims at Best Buy, they are $1 and have a free month unlimited talk text and 6gb data. Once you have the sim you can port everything using h20s website. Stay with H20 for a few days and port into sprint on before April 4th. Target also has this H20 sim cards, choose the yellow ones and not the black and white travel sims.
A couple of people have said they were able to port out from H20, but yes you are right, it maybe ymmv. But the offer right now is a free trial so if you tell them that you're having problems with their network I think it would be crazy for them to tell you no you have to stay with us for a couple more days. Again this may also be a ymmv. People can chat on their website if they need more information.

looks like they changed the rules. I have activated 8 sim cards till now, and received acct number and pin number for all of them in a day, some of them in hours only. never had a problem getting account number in last 2 weeks.
Yes I think they can't hold you hostage especially with this free trial sims.

I don't know about that. I did Verizon $250 rebate, that's what I was told that H2O can only release # after 5 days.,

It probably depends on how pedantic the H2O CS agent is. If push comes to shove, get a supervisor on the line and demand to be cut loose. Maybe they're being more flexible with the 6GB trial SIMS because they're losing money on them.

Yes I tried H20 too before, maybe a year ago and they were strict, 5 days and verification of last 3 calls and text.

If Sprint were to officially confirm the 4/4 end date via other channels in the next day or two, I can barely imagine what this would/will be like!

The fact they have still not done so is a little puzzling. I suspect they must have soured on this offer in the end, and no longer think it is that great an idea any more.

it's as if, gulp, they do not really want people like us any more.

Maybe they have come to realize from the statistics that they are never going to be able to convert us to paying customers for high-priced plans, which was supposedly the original goal of this plan.
