Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

No it does not because it is an old kit and does contain the needed 516TQ or 416TQ.

You can get a free sim at most Apple stores.
Thank you👍

Iphone Xs uses 516TQ and 416TQ(see Wiki sim card link). Neither is in boost 3-1 kit. You need 4-1 kit which includes 516TQ. Apple carries 416TQ for free or Best Buy may have standalone 416TQ probably $10 or less.
Thanks 👍

Wow congratulations for showing it's possible to qualify against long odds including no SSN! That's a great example for people who sometimes give up too easily!
Thanks for the vouch, just an update, I ended up ordering the sim card online as they offer free overnight shipping, and I'm looking toward potential $40 cashback from reb.te for being new customer starting out with a free trial. I could bypass the SSN form online by pre-logging into my sprint account, paid 3.19 and sit here waiting. Will give 8777 a call if the sim card doesn't arrive on 4/3 due to time constrain.

Edit: Just read the wiki again and realized i've made a boo boo at the activation fee; though I kinda want something that big to trigger my credit card cellphone insurance. The post mentioned activation fee waived / credit back after 2 months, can someone elaborate on this for me?

Many thanks!

Sorry for posting this again, due to high traffic it got buried under...

I am in the first year of BYOD, looking to quickly port out and port in with a relative's new account. I see some new gotcha's for t-mobile on wiki, can someone please advice what is the quickest way to port out of sprint in a short notice (which worked recently) and get all the details needed for porting back again into sprint? I prefer a non-ebay route, even if it means i have to go to a physical store for port out....thank u in advance

The activation fee is
- credited back later if you order online
- never charged in the first place if you sign up by calling the number ending in 8777

So on a net basis you never pay it .

Anyone else having issue porting sprint to tmobile prepaid. I initiated process yesterday (almost 24 hr ago). I called sprint and they confirm they approved it on there end. The port number is still active under sprint online dashboard. I called tmobile and was told to wait up to 24hr. My experience a year ago, the port process take 10-60mins. Is there a tmobile transfer/port dept I can follow up?
I'm redoing 6 lines total (Sprint -> T-Mobile -> Sprint) with 3 on one sprint account and 3 on another. Only 2 of the 6 completed to T-Mobile so I finished the process back to Sprint with those. It has been 24 hours since I began the ports to T-Mobile prepaid and I plan on calling them when I'm home from work in a few hours if they still are not finished. I plan on calling the same T-Mobile number and asking specifically for the port department. Let me know if yours go through!

Currently not bound into the program (check change plan give out account The account is not active). Just remember for the process, they used 999-99-9999 as the SSN to get the form going before calling the credit dept for the verification. Hope that help someone deciding to go out tonight!

If you are pressured due to looming cut-off a last resort option is
Go to Corporate MetroPCS store, port your line in, get a free phone, pay $65.($50 for first month plus $15 activation)
Then port back to Sprint.
Gift or sell the MetroPCS phone to someone on the network to recoup the cost.
I work with a bunch of guys on metro and they're always in need of a phone. Just an idea.
It's instant

Right.

If you end up calling to sign up, it is best to for the sake of expediency to lry them add the Sprint Complete insurance that they push hard.

The later on that day Chat (which goes to a different department) to get it removed.

Great idea! Thanks for the tip. I assume I would get the PIN and account number in the store when I go this route?

If the merger is approved, then complain to fcc that hey don't want to renew the plan!!!
As they promised that they will keep current plan and rate after merger.

Exactly. If the account number is not on the receipt it will be in a text that they soon send to your new phone. Foolproof
the pin is one you choose yourself

the T port has been a cluster - fkuc lately.
no one has clear fool proof method.
you must invest the time and read the post regarding the issues folks have had and how/{if at all} they resolved them...and then parse out what u think is a game plan.

[and perhaps u can post a fool proof method]

aside from that...consider the below response to ur ?

Yes I thought of that and agree it is worth a try BUT they are going to say we can keep it BUT the plan contains a built-in price escalator after the year.

Or they will say it was just a trial. Or something like that.

Still, I think we will at least be in a decent bargaining position using the argument and may get a generous offer at the least as a compromise that they will say is a reasonable "settlement".
