Tried searching the forum and got conflicting answers. Has anyone successfully used a Samsung S7 (SM-G930FD) for this?

...Also, the proficient Sprint rep repeatedly confirmed in my convo that the offer indeed ends 4/4 AND that I could add additional lines AT ANY TIME DURING MY FREE YEAR and still receive free service on those added lines FOR THE REMAINING DURATION OF THE 1 YEAR FREE ON MY ACCOUNT. Again, I confirmed this with her three separate times during sign-up convo, and she was sure of herself.
I was just talking to a rep who gave me different info, indicating that it is ending today and we would not have the ability to add any additional lines to the plan past today.

Does anybody know if I open a new line today (last day of promo) I can still add more lines later to join the 1 year free BYOD plan?
Thanks.

Don't forget that most reps will say whatever is likely to motivate you to add more lines today rather than later.

I think so, others still have their doubts.

Anybody who has this plan can tell me whether it comes with WIFI calling. Last time I had it on my Moto x4 it didn't, but I left them to take a break several month ago. Do u know whether they make any changes? Anybody who has the plan has it now?
I use WiFi calling exclusively on my iPhone 6s and this plan. Sprint in my area sucks but it's a home phone so it can stay at home on WiFi, which works great.

I don't think it's on by default. On my Samsung handset, when I tapped the Wifi Calling icon, I got a popup asking me if I wanted to add Wifi calling to my account for free. So I said yes.

All domestic models of the xs max (A1921) should be eligible wth sprint.

So signed up using the online portal. Only got charged for the sim card, $3. I guess there's not a difference signing up through the online portal vs calling in anymore? Seemed to go smooth and easier than speaking with an agent on the phone.
In the past, we've always recommended people go through the 8777 number because there's much more flexibility when (not if) things go wrong. If you want to activate an ancient Sprint phone that the eligibility checker says won't work? You need the 8777 number. Have your own SIM already? 8777 number. Anticipate resistance from the company you're porting from (*cough* H2O *cough) 8777 number. That said, if you've been on hold for over a half hour for the 8777 number, I can see how the online option might be attractive. Use your judgement.

Probably not but why take a chance? Get the sim card locally and get it all done today.

A few data points:

1. I was adding 4 more lines to an existing BYOD but was having problems receiving the one-time pin via text message (see below). Phone rep said that was the only way she could verify me to add lines. But after a long struggle, she came up with a solution: add a non-free line via website and her supervisor would submit an override request to change the plan to the BYOD free plan that should happen in 5-7 business days. I am skeptical but went with it and will see if it comes through in a few days. (The nice thing is, once I added this second line, it activated in minutes, and then I had the rep send the one-time pin to the new line to validate me to add lines 3-5.)

2. I had problems receiving texts when I ported out and back in, and advanced tech support couldn't figure out the problem. But swapping devices to another phone and then back seems to have fixed the issue.

3. I was told by multiple reps that chat can be used to start a new BYOD account but can not be used for adding lines.
