As posted by others, you would need either a new SSN or to be off Sprint for 45 days.

However hopefully we will get confirmation soon that it is for a full year.
How do you get out of kickstart? I have a new ssn

I believe you it is one year as they havent change from last ad. This has always been the problem with their ad . the date is always changing or wrong.

As long as you have a new SSN that is different from the one used for kickstart, you would just use it for the new free plan independently.

You would have to port out and in to move a phone and number.

This is awesome. The link from comintel talked about customers having to switch from AT&T and Verizon. I assume t-mobile is out.(with the impending merger)? So, what are the cheapest ways to port out to att or verizon?

Waaaaow! That's very interesting. Expiration date is the same as our current 4/30/20, but would be hugely beneficial to anyone who missed it. Really deserves to be a new thread if it's true. I nominate comintel to start it since he's been THE most consistent person in helping people on 1YF. Hurray for Sprint desperation. Yahoo!
Thanks and it looks as if you were right and this appears to be open again despite my first guess.

I definitely do not want to start a new thread myself.

Desi and hodaddy would be the people to decide whether to reactivate this thread or start a new one. Overall long-term, Desi has contributed more and is in better touch with some aspects. And hodaddy reorganized the Wiki.

Desi / hodaddy, once you are satisfied that this offer is live again, do you want to reactivate this deal (or start a new one)? I will leave it to you to do whichever you prefer. Probably we should do one of the other if we believe it is live again. Thanks.

T-Mobile should hopefully be fine still because the merger cannot be assumed to going to be approved because the lawsuit by the state AG's is not bring heard until December and Sprint cannot legally treat TMobile any differently until then.

The Sprint page always mentioned Verizon (and later AT&T) but they never enforced that.

Thanks but I do not want to make the time commitment as I have things coming up that will take me away. Desi and hodaddy need to do it (including reactivate this thread if they want).

Yeah would feel more comfortable if end date showed 9/30/20.
Although this seemed to go active on a Friday and other free plan changes were Friday 7/13/18(plan lost HD and hotspot) and Friday 4/5/19(plan died).
Need help from Andrew Chen.

I just signed up online. Does it attempt to port in immediately or do you call in after they send the sim?

Also, how do you avoid charges to your credit card?

It will not port before you receive the sim (which is mandatory if you sign up online).

You have to allow it to make charges to your credit card to pay taxes etc and to get the $5 autopay discount. (Plan is $5 plus taxes/admin less $5 autopay discount).
