Is there a place on the website that I can check that to confirm ?
Probably device settings, there shouldn't be any active devices.

You should be good then. You'll be getting your final bill soon. Thats their normal message, you have to call in to cancel, if one doesn't port out. You can call or chat with them to confirm.

If your port was successful and you see that you are already on Sprint, that means you're all good.

My free plan is coming to end at the end of January. I had 3-lines on the plan, and have already moved 2-lines to T-Mo. What is a good way to cancel the account? I understand that porting is the best way, but I dont want to add this line to my T-Mo plan. I dont really care about the number, but if possible, wont mind saving (parking) the number somewhere till a better deal comes along. Any pointers?
TIA.

My free plan is finally coming to an end January 30. Does Sprint warn you when they will change the plan price?

Also, since my last billing cycle runs from January 11 to February 10, how does that billing cycle get charged between January 30 and February 11? Does it get prorated by the new plan price? Should I just cancel mid-cycle?

There is no free parking anywhere.

Best just port it out to H2O or anywhere elsewhere to die.
Search this thread on H2O for details.

Or call and cancel it and follow up meticulously or it may not actually get cancelled. It hurts their scores to accept a cancellation so quite a few will not actually enter it under one pretext or another. Unless you nail down every last detail they may assume you are just inquiring or there may be a "technical glitch" entering your request etc etc..

Be completely off (ported out) before Feb 10 if venturous or before Jan 30 if conservative. There is no point trying to nail this down further than that because Sprint reps give conflicting answers.

No warning. My last day of the free billing cycle was 11/29. I ported out to the att $300 for 1 year prepaid without any hassle. You can chat with sprint for the last day to cancel before you get charged

Good move, although you probably would not actually have been charged until the next billing cycle started, according to the actual experience of people here.
(Reps are totally unreliable and just guess).
But I have no argument with playing it safe!

Comintel, I am not how to search the thread. I have query regarding my recent purchase of iPhone 7 from Boost for Costco T-Mobile trade-in. But yesterday only received the phone and in IMEI check, it shows device has not reached financial eligibility. I knew it was addressed during SPRINT BYOD free plan deal in this thread but I am not able to get those comments. Please suggest how to move forward with this device. Do I need to return to Boost since it will not eligible for any trade-in promos. TIA

Boost phones are subsidized in exchange for a commitment for use on Boost for a full year (not on Sprint).

There are some exceptions for some iPhones and ways around it (social engineering etc) but first I would call Boost to see what they say re that particular phone.

Some people got phones that through oversight or for whatever reason were unlocked, but you could not count on that and it sounds as if you did not get lucky this time.

Given what you mention, I suspect you may want to return it if you still can unless anyone has other suggestions.

You only have under a week after purchase to return a phone to Boost so you have to act instantly. See https://www.boostmobile.com/about...olicy.html for the number to call. They are very rigid on that deadline. You must ship it back as they describe if you bought it from them online.

If you bought it from Costco, maybe their conditions are different..
