Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Your billing period will be June 10 to July 9.
So you are paid until then in your free plan.
Do not wait until July 9. Probably safer to port out a week or so before that, maybe July 1st.
Your July bill will start on July 10 and it'll be for the $60/$40/$20 rate.

Be careful with your port out.
Some companies may take a few hours or a few or several days to do the port out. Others do it in 15 minutes, like T-Mo.
I don't know how long H2O takes but you may want to port out by June 30/July 1.
Check how long H2O takes to port in to them if you want to push the limit.
Only after the port out becomes effective is the Sprint account closed and it may take 24 hours or so to be updated in the Sprint system as a closed account.
OK, thanks (and Desi, too) . End of June, then is fine. I was just a bit worried that I needed to be gone before June 9. I have gotten about 5 phone-years out of this deal and used then overseas quite a bit. It has been a great ride.

This Free BYOD is dead and buried.
There are no more extensions.
Act accordingly!

And this thread will die a graceful death!!!

I recall that some people were given extensions to the end of May, and some to the end of June.

If you were given an extension, but only to the end of May, you could at least chat or call and ask if you can have to the end of June. I have no idea whether this would work but would give it a try anyway.

People with 5/31 ending have tried calling Sprint retentions, NO more extensions.
This is done.

People with 5 lines ONLY can try the Verizon BYOD/Port a #, $250 credit/line along with a $115/line cashback at BFRGL. That's $1825, it should be good for about 9 months for 5 lines of free unlimited service, but since it make take a month or so for the credit to be received, the first month's payment will have to be made. No activation fees.
Probably Not worth it for less than 5 lines.
Search here at SD for more info.

Very likely so, barring a last minute change of heart on the part of Sprint, or special individual circumstances, including Covid-19, for a particular account.

The person who posted earlier tried too far in advance in my opinion.. Now, just ahead of 5/31, would be the best time to try. Personally, for anyone for whom it would matter, I would try again now, and mention Covid-19 too.

Yes it is a long shot.

I myself moved off months ago,

People I know ending 5/31 tried today. NO dice!
This is done, move on folks.

Probably Not worth it for less than 5 lines, but you can try the calculations and see IF it works for you. It MAY work with 3 or 4 lines.
Offer expires 5/31 but it gets renewed monthly for several months now.
MUST stay with Verizon for 7 months or lose the $250/line credit.

Are most people porting out to Mint??

I have 5 lines on the free plan expiring on 6/30...all iPhones

2 lines less than 2gb a month
3 lines avg 10gb a month

It's cheaper to break them up rather than going to a family plan with 5 lines right?

Thanks in advance..

I have 4 lines to port out. If I did that and do the Sprint Come Back offer, the terms show I would get 4x$250 credit after 2 bill cycles. Anyone have any experience or advice on doing this?

Just curious, is there any indication that that offer is still in effect?

The old Come Back to Sprint web page seems to be have been gone for some time now.

My friend ported out 1 of his lines 4 days ago and got an sms text the next day with the offer. "Receive up to a $100 reactivation credit when you reactivate one eligible line. Or up to a $250 reactivation credit per line when you reactivate two or more". So what do you think?
