Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You and all others here with 3-5 lines should check this post for the possibility of getting FREE unlimited Verizon service for 7-9 months:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=137576762&postcount=43528

After 7 months, that's about at least until Christmas or so, one can decide what to do next depending on the deals at the time.
Certainly, around Black Friday to Christmas there are many promotions offered.
This Verizon deal is best for 5 lines or more but do the calculations for 3 or 4 lines.
It may still be an excellent deal if it costs, for instance, $10/month.
You MUST have Verizon eligible phones that will pass the Verizon IMEI check.

You can do the deal online only for the first 5 lines but if you have more than 5 lines, you must go thru BFRGL online for the rest so that you can get the $115/line for the additional lines and then have Verizon customer service combine the additional lines to the first 5 line account so that you can get the $30/mo/line rate. Of course, if you have 10 lines do it twice and leave it as 2 different accounts, and do not involve Verizon CS.
Good luck to all!

EDIT:

As I said in my other post, the deal expired on 5/31/2020 but Verizon has been auto-renewing this offer monthly since October 2019, and chances are it'll renew past 7/1/2020.
The CURRENT DEAL expires on 7/1/2020, please READ ALL INFORMATION, especially the little circled i's, here:

And you can see the rates/lines here:

Thank you. I checked Verizon site for phone compatibility and mine is not compatible. So I will need to buy a phone and Verizon phones are expensive in their site. It looks like a lot of work. I am thinking to get the Free Moto G stylus with Metro.

I am confused.

Based on the fine print.. it will be received within 8 weeks.. so I'd assume two/three months out of pocket before being able to apply the e-Gift Card.

You should be ok right away with a different SSN.

People are having trouble getting the offer through BestBuy if they have or had a recent account with Sprint.

But the phone number alone will not be an obstacle in this case. Just the SSN.
Quote from comintel :
Yes I meant right away after porting out.

Yes BB's system is insisting on being able to create a new Sprint account in this case which means a new SSN.

(Sprint itself actually does not require a new customer account for Kickstart if you go directly to Sprint but that would require paying $35 a month).
Thanks for the clarification!! Any suggestion on the quick cheapest way to port out before I can port back asap?

People posted in the other Verizon thread that it took about 5 weeks, so 1 month out of pocket is most likely.

The $300 increase must have just happened today or so. The BFRGL CB is still $115.
This makes it even better for those with 3 or 4 lines and great for those with 5 or more lines.
It shows that competition is heating up.

The Best Buy Unlocked FREE Motorola E6 that comes with the Sprint $25 Kickstart plan is a possibility.
It should work with Verizon since it's the same phone that VISIBLE, a Verizon prepaid service, was giving away some months ago.
Unless their IMEI is not in the Verizon database.
These E6s are not really returnable to BB.

There is no really cheap way except for special offers of various mvno's that come and go - maybe somebody will suggest one.

Other than that you can get an ultramobile paygo sim from a TMobile corporate owned store only (not online).

For more info read my posts in the past week or so.

Verizon has been losing customers and now it's on the competitive war path with the other wireless providers.
This increased competition is good for all customers shopping around and it'll probably increase further as T-Mobile absorbs Sprint and it retires the Sprint name, and as the end-of-year holidays approach.

It's probably not a good move to lock oneself to a single provider right now with long term phone leases, etc.
did you use bfrugal for cashback? did it move to payable as 115 * 6 lines (or however many lines) for you? just wondering if they'll change their minds like rakutn and say tat it's 115 per order...

It's $115/line and it's posted very fast, $690.
Online, only 5 lines can be done.
The 6th line was a separate order thru BFRGL but Verizon CS took care of it so it's at the $30/line/mo rate.
Now with the $300/line it's even better.

By the way, if you have Verizon Fios and you use the same account, your monthly Fios price gets a $10-$20 credit depending on the Fios services.

I'm trying to port from Mint to Hello. On the hello website, it said that the current SIM from Mint would work so I started the process yesterday. I do not have service as of now. Did you need to wait to receive new SIM card from Hello or did your previous SIM work for you ?
Hello Mobile originated on the Sprint network. My phones/sim cards are Sprint so I didn't need new sim cards. Since Sprint and T-Mobile have merged, Hello Mobile can now utilize T-Mobile's network, as well. You shouldn't need a new sim as Mint is based on the T-Mobile network.

Thanks. Is there any advantage in porting 3 vs 5 lines to Verizon for this offer other than getting $300 for 2 more lines?
Purely on monthly cost for service does Verizon work out better for 3 vs 5 lines or it's the same ?
I have 3 lines on Sprint and my one year free is coming to an end on 6/30/20. So I am thinking whether to add 2 more lines to free one year before porting out for this deal ?

All those whose Sprint 1 year Free is ending on 6/30/2020 if we port out on 6/30 will Sprint bill prorate bill at Free rate until 6/30 and higher rate for the rest of the billing period ?
Or are people porting out on the billing cut off date ?

Doesn't this $300 GC offer have a clawback clause if Verizon lines are cancelled /ported out within 6 months ?

Sprint does not prorate so it will be zero till the end of your billing period ending next after 6/30 (in this case).

That's the experience to date.

So if you port out on 6/30 you pay zero for sure. Probably you can even stay a bit longer through that entire billing period into part of July but most take no chances and port out by 6/30 since some reps say to do that to be safe..
