If I did start unlimited but submitted using $300 eGift promo code, I assume it will get rejected. Should I submit another one with the BYODATHOME250 code?

The CS rep says the amount would just be adjusted...
You probably should not complicate things by submitting again.
The CS rep should be correct.
The only issue may be a delay of issuing the eGift codes, and that's not good since you may have to pay out of pocket for an extra month.
Go to the rebate web site and check your status often, there should be a tracking # for each line/rebate you submitted.
Also there is a contact button there to contact them and explain the issue to get it corrected.

Trying to read end of year BYOD info as quickly as possible. My first Payment process was June 14, 2019. So last week or so was one year. It says nothing about next bill being $60 or whatever. Should I just port out now? This was a throw away number that I've barely used so don't need the number. Was nice to have a backup phone though.

On a side note, Sprint has always been terrible signal wise where I live and when I travel. Unusable really. It FINALLY started to become decent last few weeks as it began to roam on Tmobile. For the first time ever, I'm using band 2 and have VoLTE in the top right corner of my unlocked Note 9. Right when my free year ends of course haha! Meanwhile, where I'm staying, my ATT prepaid is using band 17 and though I do get calls, the quality is unusable. I can't talk to anyone. Sprint/Tmobile is perfect.

They compute the dates their own way as follows:.

The last regular plan expiry date was April 30.

After that, there was an extension to either the end of May or the end of June (some people got one, some the other)..

If you got the extension to the end of June, you need to port out by the end of June to be conservative (you could probably/possibly let it run to the billing period end date following that but most here choose not to take that risk).

Porting out is safest but you can call to cancel if you want, or do both to be extra safe. (You can port out to H2O for free and let it die there as outlined in recent posts here).

It is true that they took off mention of the $60 in one place but they will still charge it in all likelihood.

In case anyone cares, TMo Tuesday app now works on Sprint lines. Since most of us are porting out soon, today will be the first and last time we'll be able to take advantage. Haha. None of the offers are noteworthy: 50 Starbucks stars, TMo belt bag, 3 mos postmates, 6 mos telemedicine, $0.25/gal Shell discount.

Thanks to everyone who made this thread one of the greatest in the history of SD. It's been a helluva ride. Sadbye

Thank you as always. Just remembered I have a backup US Mobile phone with minutes only on Verizon network that I can port to. Oddly enough, I need the Sprint phone till Friday as my ATT coverage here in SC is just terrible. How ironic haha!

I have 3 lines with end of June expiration on the free deal. I called Sprint today to unlock one of my phones, and the CSR said she could give me my third line free for a year without having to port out and back in. So I would have 3 lines for $100 plus taxes/fees. Not the best deal out there, but I have had good experience with Sprint and this could save me the port out hassle.

I should be able to see my next bill on Thursday to verify if she was actually able to give me the free line.

How would I port 6 lines to Verizon (currently on two sprint plans)?

BFRGL gets $115/line cashback?

For 5 lines both work out to about 8 free months.
The $250 rebate of the Start Unlimited has a $20/line activation fee so $100 for the 5 lines.
The $300 rebate of the Play More OR the Do More OR the Get More Unlimited plans has NO activation fees for the 5 lines.

The best one imo is the Do More Unlimited since it includes 50GB of premium data but if 720HD is more important the Play More may be..

Keep in mind that you'll be paying the first month's bill out of pocket before the eGift card arrives, (maybe the 2nd too if the card is late), to be used then for the monthly payment.
eGift card only, no master card!
You'll get an email with the code to apply for the rebate, the code for the $250 eGift is BYODATHOME250, for the $300 it may be BYODATHOME300?
The rebate site is:

https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/
I can't find the wording in T&C mentions the $300 rebate requires Do More/Play More plan. Maybe they removed that requirement?

Just ported out 4 lines to VZW for $300 egift card per line and BFGL cash back ($460 pending)... 5th line will be ported out to h2o tmrw after i pick up the sim card since we don't need the number.

Thank you to Sprint and everyone here who's been so helpful!
Is there a link or a discussion somewhere about the BFGL cash back, I have been searching but unable to find anything, Thanks!

Read this post:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=137779070&postcount=43647

You'll get an email with the code to apply for the rebate, AFTER THE ORDER IS COMPLETE, the code for the $250 eGift is BYODATHOME250 for the Start Unlimited Plan.
That's the code you'll get in the order confirmation email if you choose the Start Unlimited Plan.

For the other plans it will be $300, and it may be BYODATHOME300, so anyone who did the other plans please confirm.

A WORD OF CAUTION:

In the latest T&C posted, there is only mention of a $300 rebate with NO activation fees, BUT the T&C state for SELECT Unlimited Postpaid Plan, BUT does not define what are these SELECT Plans. It states that the activation fees will be waived and credited within 2-3 billing cycles.

There is NO mention of any $250 rebate for any Unlimited Plan or for ANY $20 activation fees for any plan. (Verizon's online only activation fee is $20, but it's regularly $40).
It looks like the $250 rebate for the Start Unlimited may still be effective until 7/1 but it's doubtful it'll be in effect past 7/1. OR it may disappear at any time.

So act accordingly.

Trying to get in touch with a person at Verizon to get clarification is near impossible, Sprint on the other hand is very accessible.

Hi, I am not planning to continue after the promotion is done and don't need to hold on to the number.

I bought a H2O sim and gave all my details to port the number to H20 to let it die there (not even planning to top up with 10$ credit).
https://www.h2owirelessnow.com/transfer

When I hit the submit button, the website complains that my sprint PIN is incorrect. I have used the same PIN to port out a couple of lines earlier this month and I know it is correct.

Is it safe to contact H20 customer support as I ain't planning to stay with H20?

Any help is appreciated, TIA.

It's $115/line and it's posted very fast, $690.
Online, only 5 lines can be done.
The 6th line was a separate order thru BFRGL but Verizon CS took care of it so it's at the $30/line/mo rate.
Now with the $300/line it's even better.

By the way, if you have Verizon Fios and you use the same account, your monthly Fios price gets a $10-$20 credit depending on the Fios services.
How did you do 6 lines?

Sign up twice then merge accounts? Is there a second credit check? Use the same name? Thanks!

2 orders with BFRGL and Verizon, then call Verizon CS they merge them for the $LOW/line rate.
Same name, etc.
There is no hard pull credit check, only a soft check inquiry, so it doesn't affect your credit score.
