I've been eyeing the 5tb Toshiba. B&H's regular price seems to be $146 and it's no tax for me. Any ideas on the cheapest the 5tb has been?

I have 3 of these 5TBs drives in my home server. I paid 140 for each back then and it was a pretty good deal. Not sure if theyve gone for less since then.

lowest was ~$127 this year but way back in Mar - might've been $120-125 last yr

I have the slightly older version of the Toshiba 5tb. They are fairly reliable but be warned that they are not the quietest drive in the world.

I have 3tb version that just got click of death issue. You can find tons of videos on it and Toshiba drives seem to develop this problem just after warranty is out. You be the judge, but no more Toshiba drives for me.

I believe I paid $122 for my last one. Haven't seen it cheaper than that on Newegg since then. I would probably buy another one if they would get down to $122 again. Normally around $142 at MicroCenter.
