At $1000 price bracket, if you check for deals, you will find GTX 1060 laptops are popping up, mainly the 3GB model which will be still better than 1050 Ti. SSD can be upgraded in any gaming laptops and they are fairly cheap now a days. So don't concentrate on that component while buying a Gaming laptop.
Lenovo's shipping can be a nightmare - and once you click pay, they take the money out immediately and will make it about impossible to cancel while you're forced to wait 6 weeks for them to ship...
Their support, like many companies now days, is complete garbage too (based on my experiences with my Y580) - so buyer beware on that front... Full disclosure: my experience was in '12/13, so hopefully it's gotten better (though, if so, that wasn't my experience when dealing with Lenovo over my defective MXPE)...
At the end of the day, when it comes to specs for your money, they're at the top...and to be fair, it's a crap shoot with most all tech companies now days, so...
After my Y580 experience, I swore that I'd never buy Lenovo again - but as more and more time has passed, and when considering that I'm still using my Y580 nearly 5yrs later, it's difficult to hate on them too much... While the audio on my unit was crap due to a widely discussed/documented, yet Lenovo denied, design flaw, it was easily worked around with a $15 USB dongle... so... Yeah... At sub-1K, it may be worth the gamble to upgrade...

It is a $295 difference, not $350.
$750 - 6% cashback from ebates = $705
$1000 - $705 = $295
