$80 for a 50mm 1.8 STM is a steal! Won't find it cheaper anywhere. Canon is pretty good about returns as well.

Anyone else quickly glance at the pic and think this was a deal for an Amazon Echo Dot at first?

When you add on shipping and tax, it makes it close to 100 bucks. You can buy it brand new for 110.

It's still a decent deal - but it isn't that great. I love getting Canon refurb stuff. I just wish you didn't have to pay tax on it vs buying new from Adorama.. B&H..etc. In some cases the tax eats up enough that you can buy in new for the same price, if not cheaper.

Best bang for buck lens available ever.

You will notice the sharpness compared to your kit lens.

Everyone shooting Canon should own this, unless you have one of the other 50's

I bought an EF 50mm 1.8 STM three weeks ago, the last time it was posted on sale, and was able to ask customer service chat for free shipping (as someone else recommended). Ended up being a terrific deal. I haven't shot it more than a few times, but so far I'm very happy with it.

Is there any 10% off coupon out on top of that?

There is a canon rebate program going and it might work out better after rebate with brand new lenses then these refurbished ones!
