When you add on shipping and tax, it makes it close to 100 bucks. You can buy it brand new for 110.
It's still a decent deal - but it isn't that great. I love getting Canon refurb stuff. I just wish you didn't have to pay tax on it vs buying new from Adorama.. B&H..etc. In some cases the tax eats up enough that you can buy in new for the same price, if not cheaper.
You will notice the sharpness compared to your kit lens.
Everyone shooting Canon should own this, unless you have one of the other 50's
