I see that the silver model is slightly different in that it has in-line audio controls rather than the little audio box with the black model. I'll get these and return the black one unless there's something really off about the silvers.
A quick search on Slickdeals shows similar deals in the past but these model names are so obscure to the uninformed that it could be a different unit...

According to CCC the previous cheapest deal on Amazon was $64 with the average price of $75
As for this headset, it has a major issue with the volume slider. I returned mine because simply tapping the slider accidentally caused the audio to dropout in one ear until I moved the slider again. I was going to return it to get a working unit but noticed a bunch of other people with the issue so I just bought a Cloud Core instead, which has no slider.

Won't fit due to the plastic part on the cord. The 3.5 jack is on the bottom left and the black plastic prevents the jack from being on the left.
Correct
The version on sale is the same thing, except branded for PS4, PC, and XB1. Main difference being the Xbox One version comes with a hardcase and this one comes with a pouch.
