WARNING: While these phones were initially, mistakenly, shipped as totally unlocked, as of 7/18/17 Verizon and Apple have figured out the mistake and are locking them down so they can only be used with a Verizon pre-paid plan. They are even going back and locking down phones that were already activated on other carriers or plans. The second sentence is NOT true; not a single report of this happening as of yet
If you have an unopened phone from this "deal" return it to BestBuy, preferably unopened. You will not be able to activate it on anything but a Verizon pre-paid plan from 7/18/17 forward. And even if you activated it earlier, you stand a good chance of having your phone shut down subsequently.
I bought two of these last time looking to purchase another one. Will best buy lock me from buying phones in the future? I've read they're pretty strict on phone purchases and excess will lead to perm block/ban from online purchases
Why the TD's? I'm curious as the iPhone SE 32GB for $199 from AT&T back in April was a FP 194TU. I was thinking of getting this for my son who has been limping along with a 5 year old 4S that I handed down to him when I got my 6S. He can't load anything higher than iOS 8 and can't download many current apps. I want to just swap his 4S with the SE on my Verizon post-paid plan.

No clue about the TDs... it has been going in and out of stock recently. It was fp deal when it was posted few weeks ago.
The iPhone SE for AT&T won't work with Sprint/Verizon. I believe their are two versions of the SE in the U.S.. Does anyone know if this will work with Sprint?

Verizon and Sprint use CDMA technology, so it should work.
It's TD because OP started a new thread and didn't the old thread. You can argue or debate the necessity of starting another but this offer will disappear again... Then what? Start another thread? bud.

You are giving out the wrong information. Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile version is different from Sprint's version just for the iPhone SE. Sprint's version doesn't have LTE Band 13 to work on Verizon. Look at the URL below directly from apple.

Let them judge if it should be merged. The deal is incredible either way. Other one was dead for nearly 2 weeks. IMO that is new thread worthy, but if you don't agree take it up with the mod.</p>

If you use a Verizon's version on Sprint you will only get minimal coverage for LTE and 90% of the time you will be on 3G unless you are in an area where sprint has full LTE on their band 25 & 26 which hard to find. Most of Sprint's LTE bands are on Band 41.

A1662 = Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile
A1723 = Sprint
All Verizon LTE phones are SIM unlocked due to FCC requirements of Verizon.
