Can anyone recommend cheaper Car Stereo for an old truck ( 05 Escalade ) that has capability to attach back up cams and bluetooth ? is not crazy about all the other bells and whistles ? Thanks...
This is not a bad deal. Tri state of sound is selling the 4200 for $455 on Amazon right now, so comes out to $355 after the $100 rebate. No tax but also no backup camera.

The right answer depends on a couple things. First, if all you're looking for is bluetooth and a screen, Craigslist might be the way to go, especially if you can install yourself.
That will be fine, it accomplishes what you want to accomplish, you can ignore the GPS if you want, and Fry's will install for free because it's >$100. I think that there's a $20 code floating around that's still good.
If you're not close to a Fry's, you can do about the same at Best Buy.

Bestbuy doesn't always do free installation- I actually don't know if they're running it right now or not. I hope I'm not sending you on a wild goose chase.
This is absolutely a good deal. JUST DON'T BE LAZY AND FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE MAIL IN REBATE.
Pioneer makes you jump through a few hoops to redeem. First you must submit the claim online (useless step IMO). Then you have to print out a claim form and sign it. Then you have to cut out the serial number and UPC from the box. You also need to include a receipt from an authorized reseller. Once you have all that jazz, you can then mail it to a freakin' PO box and pray that your $100 gift card arrives before your Tesla Model 3...
With that said, it's a great unit. No need to spend the extra $300 on the 8200. You will NOT miss capacitive touch I promise you, nor will you need the built-in nav if you own a smartphone.
PURCHASES FROM BEST BUY, WHERE THE REBATE WILL BE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. PURCHASES FROM BESTBUY.COM OR AMAZON.COM ARE NOT ELIGIBLE.

If you can't install yourself, then I would just get something like this: http://www.frys.com/search?query_..
