Is this a bad deal? This seems like an excellent price for a 4k monitor with 1ms
My two pennies, but this is the same model that was widespread available at $250 New last Black Friday. Short of immediate need I would wait the month, expecting the same or better of a deal.
TN really sucks. It might be okay if you put it far away so that there's no varying viewing angle, but then you are supposed to keep the 4K screen at 28" close to you.
Monitor amateur here: what is TN and is it good or bad?
Google will help you further, but TN refers to the lcd type. IPS or sometimes VA is preffered as TN has narrow viewing angles and sometimes less vivid colors. TN does usually have much lower response times.

TN panels (short for Twisted Nematic) are your basic, run-of-the-mill flat panel. They were introduced to replace the fat CRT monitors. They suffer from poor color reproduction and bad viewing angles, and were superseded by IPS panels.
I've been using a 40 in 4k monitor for over a year now and my only complaint is application scaling is awful. Adobe photoshop and premiere in my case. Fonts and symbols are so small its difficult to use. Side note im running GTX 1080 in Sli and even with this setup its hard maintaining 60+ fps on games. Current sweet spot is 1440p with current tech imop
