edit: As of now Nov. 30, 2017 18:08 No phone/sim Unlock available. No prof of any method works. There might be bootloader unlock but no phone/sim unlock, still stuck with AT&T.

To help clear up any info on working with such and sucha carrier here is official info so far:

1. AT&T has upgraded their unlock system to no longer allow phones to be unlocked for a carrier "other" than AT&T Networks until 6 months of AT&T prepaid service have been complete. AT&T Prepaid service required to start 6 month countdown, MVNO's Don't Count towards the 6 months. Note*: It is also said that people can sign up for AT&T Prepaid but choose the lowest cost plan option and it may count towards the 6 months.

2. The Non-Customer unlocks don't work anymore. I tried that with 3 different Sealed in box AT&T Prepaid iPhone SE's from Best buy and it did not work.

3. This phone works out of the box on the following networks without needing to be unlocked: AT&T Postpaid, AT&T Prepaid, H2O BYOD, Cricket BYOD, Freedompop BYOD(LTE Sim), Airvoice BYOD, Red Pocket BYOD(AT&T), Straight Talk BYOD(AT&T), Tracfone BYOD(AT&T).

4. The Cricket Huawei Elate may need to be unlocked to be used on AT&T but definitely needs to be unlocked to be used on T-Mobile.

5. AT&T upgraded the OTA(Over-The-Air) Software update system to require an Active AT&T Prepaid or Postpaid sim card to get Software Updates. Some report getting software updates on MVNO's, but it's not Guaranteed.

edit: some one report #4(NOT "Defiantly") needs to be unlocked to be used on T-Mbile(by mfreiheit; 11-27-2017 at 09:05 PM.).

Edit #2: I added Tracfone(AT&T) BYOD to my list in my post as well for networks it will work with without needing an unlock code. Also added #5. Added the AT&T prepaid low cost option. Not sure about Puretalk(it may work but need someone to confirm). (Edited by Vic121 at 1:00 AM 11/30/17).

Edit #3: For anyone having their phone been reported Lost or Stolen by carrier service please send your bill, prof of purchase to them. This is due to improper scan by the store when they sold the phone to you.

Edit #3-1: Go back to store to do return and re-buy to make sure they scan both the UPC and the Activation Code. You should get your receipt and prof of activation. Call your MVNO carriers in AT&T network to provide the information to lift the phone from blacklist.
