I hope so. I got one of the 20% off coupons as well. I wish they had a p607 version but might settle for a s405 if the price is low enough

I'm hoping the P607 will go lower in my TCL 55S405 return window. It's definitely a good deal at $314 but doesn't hold up against my 2yr old Vizio P50. Here is a good channel for HDR https://youtu.be/8FSHa77t2q0

I'll attach a comparison shot, TCL on the left. 5" more but less pop than than the non HDR P50 with FALD.

Yeah Ryan I hope the P comes down and we get the 20...cannot believe it didn't come down for BF...Feeling like an idiot waiting for BF instead of ordering it before when it dipped lol.

well I was going to splurge on a big Vizio P65 but now I see those OLED BF prices getting closer to my budget.

From what I've seen so far I wouldn't want a bigger TCL S over a smaller TCL P. The TCL S picture is on the soft side. Some tvs upscale better than others so it's critical to feed it quality HD.

Doesn't look like the P607 is going on sale, it's too popular and would be hard to grab if it did. I haven't been able to see the P607 optimized, lame BB showroom has crummy feed on it.

I jumped on this because I wanted a 65" and it had the most features I wanted for under $1000.

The biggest difference for me, personally, is the Vizio's lack of a TV tuner. I'd like to have the ability to plug in an antenna, and the Vizio's don't have one, so that was a deal breaker for me.

BUT.... I've had massive problems actually procuring the TV from Target. The closest store sold out, so I couldn't pick it up there. Then they emailed me offering to ship it for free, but when I called to try and actually claim the free shipping, they refused. I now have to schlep to another store to hopefully pick it up today, before they sell out too! Ridiculous, and Target's crappy customer service refused to do anything to make good for their mistake, despite the huge amount of my time they wasted yesterday. Incredibly frustrating to say the least.
