AAA DMV Services

Hey guys, I have a situation to where I need to go to the DMV. I saw locally that a AAA office has a DMV.

I have AAA car insurance but I do not have a AAA card membership, do I have to have a AAA card membership to use their DMVs? Or is having AAA car insurance enough?

Not in California. You have to bring checks and make them out to DMV.

Maybe it's just Norcal then or some locals. They've insisted on check for anything payable to DMV the last several years for me.

I'm in Norcal, cash only, I know I had to get it. But for insurance pay any way you want.
