I have 2 of these exact model number (NESN) that I recently purchased after I couldn't get my hands on the Black Friday special (NEBB). Shucked both of them after running Stable Bit surface scans to confirm no bad sectors, and CrystalDisk to double check the SMART info.

Both of mine were 256 mb cache WD Red drives from Thailand.
NEBB - White Label
NESN - Red Label

For the record, many people think they're both red drives. I have both types and have not had any issues with either. They seem extremely similar.
FYI for anyone that bought this like me and shuck them but can't get them to spin let alone read with regular SATA connection, you either need to use a Molex to SATA power adapter OR cover the #3 pin like shown here: https://zackreed.me/hgst-7k6000-n...t-working/

I don't know if it's for every drive that's in the Easystore and I'm assuming these white labels are in fact WD Red's (I honestly haven't checked it), somehow the 3.3V pin on #3 apparently sends a reset signal and won't even spin the drives at all. But it will if you use an external dock which I've been using but wanted the drives inside my new PC build.

I was completely puzzled until I ran into the post on Reddit. Either way last night, I covered the #3 pin with the Kapton tape (I'll get a Molex/SATA cable later) and sure enough, my new PC spun the two new 8TB drives perfectly.

Just in case someone is wondering if it's a drive issue, mobo, PSU or other BIOS issue.
