im just looking for a productivity machine (i use excel for some serious modelling (file is 35mb with like 20 linked sheets) at work - not sure what kind of machine would be best?) im not a huge gamer.

The gt 730 is a million years old. The 1060 is between 2 and 12x faster.
The 1060 is also efficient. It probably won't even turn its fan on unless you play an intensive game.
I am pretty sure this is a 4 year old GPU with last year's CPU (which is not bad at all).

the 1060 (even at 3gb) is very powerful and blows the 730 away by miles and miles.
Hard to justify this machine at $400.
