Great price for this portable hard drive and it matches a recent +190 Frontpage deal.
Also includes $20 to spend or 8x8 Photo Book from Shutterfly (sent via email). -johnny_miller
I got this drive from last BB sale for my PS4 and works great. Once you connect it to the PS4 for the first time, go to Settings > Devices > USB Storage Devices and select your external hard drive. Select Format as Extended Storage and tap X. That's all there is to it!
For those curious about the value/$ between a 7200 and 5400 rpm drive for gaming, here is a good Reddit thread on the subject. It appears the community agreed the speed difference is mainly in load times of the game, and while you might see a 1-2 second faster load on the 7200 rpm drive, it's negligible and for the $/GB at $0.02/GB on this drive it's worth more than a higher priced 7200 rpm drive.
Also, apparently a 5400 SATA internal drive, which is inside the XB1 and XB1S, will always be slower than a 5400 USB 3.0 external drive like this Best Buy one. So a 7200 rpm USB 3.0 drive vs. a 5400 rpm USB 3.0 drive will be marginally faster. But you'll already notice an improvement loading and playing games from the 5400 rpm USB 3.0 compared to the Xbox internal drive. Here's a helpful thread. I would imagine the same is true for PlayStation off they use the same internal drives.
This matches some very popular Frontpage deal prices from the last few months. I am expecting this thread to be on the Frontpage, as well, if the stock holds.

Here's another site pointing out about games loading much faster from external drive from the internal XB1.

This item or the My Book 4tb - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-m...Id=5605524 for $100?
I believe this is a 5400rpm drive while the My Book is a 7200rpm.
