I already have an account with them apparently, though I had no previous orders. I was able to verify my phone number which is a transferred Google Voice line now on Cricket.

Order is "Pending Review", but payment is done via PayPal, so worst case is I have to do a dispute.

Edit: Order approved. Code worked fine.

Well, I went for it. Account creation was easy, payment went through fine, had to do number verification via text, got my code within a couple minutes and it activated fine.

I didn't like that it charged my Paypal account prior to the verification step, making me think that if that hadn't gone through I'd have been stuck. Also the code was delivered in some kind of weird shrunk picture format instead of plaintext.

Thinking back on it, despite successfully adding $10 to my account I've heard of Steam accounts being banned for less (if the code is deemed a fraud somehow) so I probably wouldn't do it again but we'll see how it goes.

I bit the bullet and was surprised that it said I already had an account. I have no recollection of ever ordering from this site before, but as I have ordered many things online over the past 20 years I suppose it's possible. Oh well. I entered a new phone number, but after 20 minutes I still haven't gotten a code. The charge is listed as pending though so I guess it simply won't go through if they never send me the code.

First time using the site but have seen it listed before with other good deals. Really old-fashioned-feeling site with the long loading times and the verification process. Didn't know that my order was "pending" until I did the weird verification thing. Had to try the SMS verification a second time before receiving the text before it counted my order as "approved." Once that happened, I had to click on the order again to see the code (squashed and distorted image, like SinisterBlur's), but it went through fine on Steam. Never got an email with the code, so just in case you're waiting for the emailed code, check your orders.

Weird, but at least it worked. Thanks, OP!

went for it. got steam code in about a minute.

as noted before, paypal was done before the review process. Requires a landline or mobile phone # for verification. Could not use Google #.

If you've never bought from them and are scared, you can certainly pass. Those whom already bought there before like myself, I'll continue to order since they already have my info. They aren't getting anymore or less with each new order.

pulled the trigger and tried. paid with paypal took a few min. but got the code. also had to do a phone verification where they text you a 5 digit you have to enter.
