We got them cause whoever built our house was stupid and when you walk in the front door to our living room there is NO light switch... You have to go completely through the living room and around the hall corner to cut on the living room light.

We hated this and didnt want to pay to have it re-wired and install a switch by the door. Now i just open the door and say "lumos" (harry potter nerd here who custom set up lights to come on on the lumos command) and now I dont have to stumble through my dark house to get to the switch while praying there arent any mass murders or clowns hiding in the dark lol.
We bought a pair of these awhile back when there was some SD for them (just 2 individually, not the pack with hub, we have a smartthings hub instead). These are really nice, the cool/warmth range is great and so is the ability to toss them on a switched fixture and turn them off remotely (obviously not on if the switch is off), have them remember their last brightness (so annoying with most other smart bulbs), and be able to change their brightness at the switch (turn it off and back on quickly, then off and back on again when it hits the right level).

For a non switched location it might not matter much, but for placing on switches we haven't converted to smart dimmers yet (it's a process, and we only buy them when cheap) or on table lamps/etc, these have been great. My only complaint is that their minimum brightness can't be modified the way some smart bulbs/dimmers can be (for bedside lamps): they go plenty dim for the most part, but even lower would be nice. That's still no worse than either the GE or Cree ones though.

Compared to both our Cree Connected and GE Link smart bulbs, I would get these instead, unequivocally. GE's bulbs list a CRI of 80, Cree's don't even list their CRI (probably equivalent to GE's), and the urlhasbeenblocked's list theirs as 80 (under tech specs on their product page [urlhasbeenblocked.com]). So that's equal at best. The extras these bring (even ignoring the tunable warmth) include such core experiential benefits that I just wouldn't consider getting a Cree or GE bulb instead at this point, personally. Neither are bad bulbs, but they're not nicely usable in most realistic real world settings (where inevitably, someone is going to want to use the light switch in addition to the smart functions) the way these are.

It's not 32 without code. I have a pending s&s order from last week with a 30% coupon and s&s discount. Came to $30.54.

Sorry my bad. Price must've gone up. I placed an order last week for 32 with coupon so thought when the person above responded that it's still available.

I wish you were right. Been waiting for a deal like this. Would like brighter light than those 60w equivalent.
