Would be nice if RAM prices weren't out of control.

Yep, I am currently looking for just the i5 myself. Thinking of returning my Mobo and getting this bundle. Tempting. Pricing for ram is still going to increase though /:

Good deal (especially with 8400 being limited in availability and no b360 MB), but put price in the title, OP.

My last two computers I've built have been MicroATX. Do I need a full size case for this mobo? or does it fit in a mid-size case?

This is a standard sized ATX board (fits mid-sized cases and up). The back of your case should have at least 6 PCI slots open for this board to fit.

Anyone know if this is a good deal for RAM to go with this? : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...gnorebbr=1
16GB DDR4 3000mhz for $175. It was on sale for $141 just a month ago, but idk if prices have risen that much in the last month? I thought ram prices have been steadily high for the last year or two...

Edit: Also this one by the same company still 3000mhz but $5 less : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...-_-Product

Edit #2- seems maybe good for right now, but there were a few deals for similar specs in the $140-$150 range in the last month. If you go back two months there was one for $121...

The heat spreaders on that POTENZA is a bit tall. Be sure it won't be in the way of the cooler or other items.
