This was on sale in earlier posted in December for $54.99 that expired. It just dropped again and is $54.86 as of this morning. Best price I've found

Good deal, but cheaper at Target with 10% off $54.99 via Cartwheel. Got mine for $52 including tax plus $5 gift card.

I've tried both and found Turbo Tax easier to use and navigate. it is more graphical which is a huge plus when dealing with so many menus

Turbotax has the best guide and interface. It is the main reason that separates it from the competition and why people stick with Turbotax year after year. In terms of actual ability to find more refunds for you, that varies from everybody. If you don't care for the guide and interface, then you can go with any other brands that you want to try.

After years of using TurboTax Premier I'm thinking about switching to TaxCut due to the lower price. Any reason for me to stick with TT?

I believe you'd pay an additional fee for state efile.

I switched from another software to TurboTax. The main reason is that TurboTax will import all my banking and brokerage data automatically. With the other software everything had to typed in manually. TurboTax is quite a bit more expensive but I find it a lot less painful of an experience.
