These uses the jinvoo app and I have never been successful getting these to work right. I had purchased 3. Not sure how others were successful but mine seem to always detect and pick up current smart plugs already installed that uses smartlife app and starts to control them but not the current item that is plugged into it. Not sure what the issue is since the other smart plugs (a variety) are good.

Tempting as hell, but I'll stick with TP link.

The Kasa app works great.

Bought one for $10 during a recent flash deal. The jinvoo app is crap and laggy, however I was able to set it up with echo dot and google home mini and for the most part it works fine, except recently the plug would start failing every few days (like once or twice a week) and alexa and google assistant would stop communicating with it. Nothing to do with wifi, the plug is on and has the blue light indicating it's active, but I would have to unplug it from the electrical outlet and then plug it back in to revive it. Kind of a PIA if you obscure the plug and outlet or if you use it to control lights in a dark room.

These will work great with the "Smart Life" app available for Android and Apple. I'm using plugs exactly like these to control under-cabinet kitchen lighting via Google Home.

I also have two TP-Link plugs. These generic plugs have worked just as good as the name brand plugs for me.

my tplink plugs have worked flawlessly with kasa app. I wish the plugs were not app dependent

The jinvoo app is terrible, but I've been able to use these plugs with the TuyaSmart app with no issues. Works great and only uses one outlet per plug unlike some of my other smart plugs!

I have a few of these and a few kisslink ones that look exactly the same just are rebranded. Work perfectly with Google home through 'smartlife' app. Just don't expect any smartthings integration

Thanks OP .. bought one!

Only reason I bought them was cause they work with the Smart life app. Already got two smart plugs working on them, these should work like a charm as well.

$11.5 per one, looks like a good price!
