I would stay away from this if it's the up970. It's notorious for being noisey. I didn't believe it at first, then mine starting making noise after a few months. LG has been not responsive. I think I knew more about the player than their customer service rep. :/

Good basic player some reviews said it's motor is noisy and it lacks Dolby vision, so be sure to check that out.

Yep, $40 at one Walmart in town. The rest of the stores were 79 to 100. I bought it last weekend. You have to tweak the settings on your TV and make sure HDr is enabled. I probably should have got the LG for $99. But hey 40 bucks not bad at all .

I was looking at LG 970, Sony X800 and Samsung k8500 and every player has some issues. Or spend a lot more and buy Oppo 203.
