Free HULU for Existing & New Sprint Customers - YMMV

+135 Deal Score

I just got off chat with Sprint rep. I'm an existing customer with Sprint for about an year. I saw that Sprint was offering HULU on their website. I asked the rep if I can be eligible for it and she sent me a link for it. One HULU account per account (meaning 1 account per family plan) but she did say you can share credentials with the other phone lines in the account.

I don't know what kind of numb-nuts downvoted your post, but it worked for me.
(I have the "Unlimited Freedom plan, which is unlimited everything and 10Gb high-speed tether)

If you have that plan (or switch to it, which you can for $100 flat fee per month for 5 phones)
Simply log in to your account, then go to sprint.com/hulu
If you have multiple phones (I do) it will ask which line you want to make changes to. Select one.
Hulu is one of the possible add-ons listed there for $0.00, simply check the box and save the configuration and you're done.
You can get Hulu for free on each phone this way (rinse and repeat) - at least until they take it away.

This has been reposted a few times, but it's probably a good reminder for those that missed seeing it before ...

All paid customers should qualify, 1 year free plan is excluded (even though it will show up as available)

Yup, if you have the BYOD (1 year free) plan, it will show you Hulu as a free available option. But if you try to add it, it won't work. It's misleading (the "add" button is there) but it is verified by many people that it doesn't work.

Thanks for that. Kind of makes you want to not post on slickdeals any more.

This does NOT include Hulu with Live TV or the Hulu No Commercials plans.
It's only for the plan with commercials which right now is $5.99/month.
I think that's reason for down votes.

Oh, 'only' the 5.99 plan.

The same people that do 'make money' deals to procure 32 cents are now uppity?

Is it good to upgrade from a 2 line Everything Data 1500 plan to the $100 one?

I have 1500 minutes shared, Unlimited starting at 6PM, Unlimited Data/Texts and I pay roughly $140 a month. I never use all the voice minutes.

Thoughts?

Surprised this is posted now as this has been going on for awhile now, though it's only recently been on the tv commercials. It's a ok deal for those that enjoy sprints subpar service but it's only the very basic plan with commercials (which is currently on a promo special for $5.99 a month) Hulu really sucks with commercials the purpose of Hulu/Netflix/etc is to get rid of commercials and enjoy our content cheaper than cable tv with a dvr!
