Make sure you read previous threads before purchasing a Walmart refurb tv. It is common to get broken sets, I myself received 3 and spent hours on the phone with Walmart customer service. It's not something I'll try again.
ordered the ebay refurb with warranty extra but would consider holding out for the TCL since they are finally launching that P65 with Dolby Vision first qtr.

do you think the TCL P65 is going to be a better set than the current P55?
Yeah but that's another fragile tv! I'm getting mine picked up tomorrow, getting my $$ back and getting the 900e when they go back on sale! Which I hope is any minute now! lol

If not..I would still go with the Vizio P
Unless there are rave reviews of the TCL 65?
The original P-Series had 72 zones, so both of these models should see improved contrast and less blooming. TCL also says the 6 Series reaches a higher peak brightness than the P-Series. https://www.theverge.com/circuitb...n-ces-2018

REFURBISHED ELECTRONICS FROM WALMART?!?!? you srsly have got to be kidding me...
as I type from my $399 Vizio P50 refurb from two years ago. The first RMA was painless and worth the savings. YMMV since that was awhile ago.
I have the new TCL 55S and the Vizio P50 so shouldn't even be looking at this deal lol
disclaimer, I've never seen a P65 in person from vizio or TCL but I do love the TCL roku OS and it's getting a new audio tech for ext spkrs.

Vizio is not a company I would trust on refurbs tbh.
Even at $1100....what else can you buy of this size and picture quality today?
You would be looking at Tv's like the Sony 900E for "like" TV's in the same picture quality range
