Warning - most of Bluetooth OBD do not work with iOS. You will need WiFi models. +1 for Torque though. I use similar Chinese brand device and was able to clear codes.

Anyone know what you need for a lexus? Even the name brand obd2 adapters would not work with the two vehicles I tried for a friend but it read my ford mustang without issues. I'm tempted to buy it just for the 5 foot extension cable.

I've had good luck with the cheap bluetooth ODB II readers. Get the Torque app if you use Android (I'm sure there is an IPhone equivalent) it works great to read the data https://play.google.com/store/app...free&hl=en I ended up paying the $5 for the pro version and it was well worth it to diagnose some problems on my car by myself.

Probably going to grab this one for the extension cable alone and gift the reader to a friend hah. It's annoying to fiddle with trying to reach the port in my car but I also don't want to leave the reader plugged in and potentially drain my battery...
