I've played a decent amount of golf (few times a summer) on older clubs, but looking to upgrade.

I am not an expert but I have purchased MANY MANY golf clubs. Regardless, this is a pretty good deal on these. I believe I purchased these last year from this seller and they came all brand new and legit.
Most use driver swing speed as the benchmark. So if say between 88-95ish may be a regular flex and 95-105 may be stiff. The issue is this doesn't take into account your swing tempo or transition at the top. A person with a smooth tempo a fast speed may be able to swing a regular while a fast tempo but slower speed may need a stiff flex.
This also doesn't count the fact there are no standards in flex ratings between manufacturers, so company A's stiff may play less flex than company B's.
