I know the golfing community on these boards are small, but this really is a great deal on a brand new set of CUSTOMIZED Mizuno JPX EZ Forged irons. 8 clubs. 4-GW.

Pick your shaft, pick your length (that's what she said).

These sticks were $100 a club not even a year ago.

Solid seller, free shipping.

Great find. Great sticks. Great deal. People/Company's are selling this set in used condition for more than $300.

There is a small sub-community of golfers on here. A lot of the golf gear that i have have come via SD. REPs to all of my fellow golfers on here.

Great price. I play them. Thin body, but with game improvement features. They are ideal for low-mid handicaps. You simply choose which stock shaft you want, so not exactly custom.

The fact that you can get these with some extra length is what really makes this a slick deal. If I didn't just pick up the non-forged version of these, and get them lengthened/regripped for my height, I'd be all over this.

I still may be all over this. Dammit.

How do you figure/choose the shaft flex?

Anyone have insight into the difference between the shafts? Any better than others?

I've played a decent amount of golf (few times a summer) on older clubs, but looking to upgrade.

If you only play a few times, it is likely that you will be okay with Regular Flex. One would go with a Stiff Flex if they swing faster.

I am not an expert but I have purchased MANY MANY golf clubs. Regardless, this is a pretty good deal on these. I believe I purchased these last year from this seller and they came all brand new and legit.

Most use driver swing speed as the benchmark. So if say between 88-95ish may be a regular flex and 95-105 may be stiff. The issue is this doesn't take into account your swing tempo or transition at the top. A person with a smooth tempo a fast speed may be able to swing a regular while a fast tempo but slower speed may need a stiff flex.

This also doesn't count the fact there are no standards in flex ratings between manufacturers, so company A's stiff may play less flex than company B's.

Avid golfer. This is a SLICK deal. I just gotta stop buying stuff I don't need! I cut my own clubs down (I'm a shorter guy) and re-grip myself... but I think I'll pass just because I don't want to go through all the work again! lol
