Get over yourselves, people. This is a community driven forum and everyone has a first post. They tried and are better than the lurkers without an account.

You folks have become overly cynical and critical. Take a break from your devices if it bothers you so much.

I agree with you. The way that other people are very critical to newbies really discourage more people to try posting deals. This is one of the reasons that we keep seeing less deals over time.

To other people: it would be great for you to point out a bad post constructively to help newbies learn and make better posts in the future. Don't insult the newbies, because they very likely wouldn't understand and only get intimidated.

Future references: Posting the price in the title would help.

What I don't understand is why the price of the item in question is usually omitted. As someone who was once a newbie, or even just shopping at a local store, or any time I browse the web for an item, I always take price into consideration.

This is all before slickdeals. And this is away from slickdeals.

Even if newbie doesn't post often, my assumption is that when they do browse slickdeals, they're looking at two critical pieces of information to determine if it's worth their time:

(1) What is the object
(2) The price of the object.

C'mon, give the OP a break. Maybe, just maybe, the price wasn't mentioned because there are several different Paperwhite models thus requiring multiple price listiings. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...

well done- perfect newbie post. Absolutely perfect

READ the posting guidelines and post some useful info- the title is useless. Unless you are telling us that a thing called a Kindle Paperwhite exists
no need to be so mean. just flag it and move on. Unlike you, finding internet deals is not this person's entire life

if someone making an innocent mistake on an internet forum makes you that upset, you should re-evaluate

Are these the most up to date posting guidelines? They're from 2004 so I doubt it but wanted to check:
