Not sure I want to jump on a Refurb when there's no mention of a warranty + "Buyer pays for return shipping. 15% restocking fee may apply"

Edit: Is anyone jumping on the 1yr protection plan?

Edit2: I did the protection plan to be safe. In for 1. Quality TV at a low price.

This is a direct comparable model with the Sony X900E series which costs more than twice as much. This is will be my first TCL TV, I have 3 Sony's x940, x850 and W650.

I was going to wait for the 2018 6 Series but it will cost $6-700 at launch.

There was a seller with local pickup with the C series that would've been $320 and it was new but figured $80 was worth the price of the upgrade to P Series plus taking into account that it is refurb. Anyone in the Tampa area though, that C Series for $320 is super slick.

just file SNAD if you get a lemon, automatic win for the buyer. And also use a CC to back you up.

The P607 comes with the enhanced remote that pairs with the TV and doesn't require line of sight. I believe it also has the headphone jack for private listening.

Just FYI, many people have reported that the enhanced remote from the P607 (as well as some other Roku remotes) will work with the P605.
