aliexpress.com & ebay. aliexpress has a CIS unit, which allows you to hook a tank up to the print head system which keeps a continuous feed of ink running to the heads. the tank is external and has a series of tubes external.
on ebay they sell the above ink kit (four black XL, six XL color). I can't yet vouch for the quality because I haven't gotten the ink because my printer is brand new. just got this sucker last week when buydig had it for $130. I can confirm the quality is decent for most tasks. scan quality blows away older scanners like I had a Dell and an HP 8500 premium which is also a $400 printer. this canon smokes them. the scans are distortion free - blacks are actually black and not faded, there's no weird bluish glass effect on the scan, etc. still has some warping effect but who cares. print quality is definitely good enough. has OCR etc for PDF document scanning and it works damn good (tried the scan to TEXT, which flawlessly copied the document for me)

I can confirm the ink is super dirt cheap too. buy four XL black carts and six color for $25 bucks. go for pigment.
How's the scanning software? Can anyone recommend better software for document handling?
Thanks.

The Dell E525W is a color laser all-in-one that has gotten as low as $80, is Slick at $100, and normally goes for about $200, give or take.
You can find monochrome laser all-in-ones for $50 on occasion, but gotta keep an eye out
