Has anyone had problems with SD rebates? Good deal! and this does have thunderbolt 3?

Aww god, why does it have to come with a 2x4g ram setup? Why not 1x8gb that way we can upgrade to 16gb with just another 8gb stick now we are forced to buy 2x8 sticks, in order to get 16gb of ram.

G3 does not have Thunderbolt 3. And regarding the Ram, not sure why Dell is doing this. All the G series laptop, including more premium G5 and G7, also coming with 2x 4GB module instead of single 8GB.

So looks like the rebate is only for purchase at Dell home. Wanted to actually buy at AAFES and save the tax but looks like not possible.

Edit: Also want a G7 but looks like that is out also...bummer..

I don't see how the G3 will be able to cool both the 6-core/12-thread CPU + 1060 without throttling all the time.

No, I have checked and G3 does not have Thunderbolt for any configuration. That sheet for the whole G series laptop, not specific to G3. In fact, in G series, only G3 lacks the TB3 support.
