Hm, $149.59 is a pretty good deal...
I have one of these, also live in LA. The fan is really loud and doesn't blow wind even close to the Vornado fans. It looks cool but unless you put the settings on high which makes it really loud, you won't feel much.

Most fans are really ugly and take it space. If I have a nice room with nice furniture, why would I want a piece of crap fan in it.

Not worth it, that seller will send you scratched up garbage, it will look like you found it in the trashbin, check his review on ebay.

Seller sent me the wrong color and it also makes a creaking noise when it turns. Also only oscillate half of what it should.
