Edit: I believe the "OR Extended Performance Motor Oil" is a mistake. It is not in the physical ad in the store and it did not come up as a promotion when checking out in store. The cashier adjusted it manually for me so YMMV.

#1 - this is in-store only, and coupons don't apply to oil anyway

#3 again, in-store only

If you go the second route (discounted GC), remember those can only be used in store.

Most promo codes don't work on oil at parts stores. However, Walmart has been considered an unofficial participating retailer in the past and has the 5-quart jug of M1 0w40 for $22.88. Two jugs of that brings the price down to $10.88 + tax each after rebate, which is win in my book. Not including the 5% CB for Walmart auto category on some of the CB sites.

Thanks for the heads up on the M1 promotion.

I don't see Advance on participating retailers list. I know Walmart is not on the list either and rebate always came through for me but wanted to check if anyone had any luck with Mobil rebate buying at Advance.

Yes, Advance Auto is considered a participating retailer according to the rebate processing company. ONLY Amazon is excluded. I purchased Mobil 1 at Advance Auto for the Mobil 1 rebate promotion that just ended, and I received the rebate check. I believe that it took about 6 to 8 weeks to receive the rebate check.

I bought this exact kit from Advance for the spring promotion and another jug from Walmart, both came through just fine.

NOT sure why you guys said in-store only? I selected ship to home and it came out the same promotional price with free shipping.

Also, if you have Speed Perks Reward, there is a $5 off $20 for "cores" (YMMV). I purchased 2 jugs of 5qt oil & 2 oil filters, the $5 coupon applied on the filters, my total came out to be $62.98 pre-tax Applause

EP oil is not part of this deal apparently. At least the website won't recognize it. I should have looked in-store while I was there picking up my 10 qts and 2 filters. Ordered online and used my Speedperks
