If you use synthetic oil it's a lot cheaper than paying someone else to do it. Also if I do it myself I know exactly what type of oil is going in and that it was done properly. Also, it takes 10 minutes vs. driving to a shop and waiting while they do it and try to upsell you with nonsense.

I'll stick with the rebate, but it would've been nice to get both though.
