These are great if you need new worklights.

I bought a place with workshops/barns totaling 5,000 sq ft. All lit be aging fluorescent fixtures (mostly t8's) with dying ballasts. I'm slowly replacing them with LED fixtures as the ballasts die.

I've 10 of these from Sam's, they are good, but I'm also going to the single strip LED equivalent to a 4' fluorescent tube for many of my applications.

And note what I consider their BS in advertising
These claim 4,500 lumens per fixture using 42 watts, or about 107 lumens per watt.

My T8's produce about 5,000+ lumens per fixture using 64 watts per fixture, or about 78 lumens/watt (using 2 bulbs per fixture total)

So the comparable "fraction"per fixture is 42 watts/64 watts (0.66). Yup, that's a fraction but a big fraction and you lose lumens. It's not like putting an 8 watt LED in place of the typical 60 watt incandescent bulb, a fraction of 8/60 ((0.13).

They are good, but don't expect dramatic cost savings if your are replacing older fixtures.
I have six of these that I bought the last time they were 25 worth every penny

Sams is lower cost, better brand, better light. The Costco lights at $20 are first choice but not currently on sale.

I have a pair of these in the garage and they are fantastic. Only drawback is that the diodes are integrated and not replaceable so if they burn out, you're either replacing the whole unit or going to learn how to solder. I'm sure it's possible to flush mount these but they're meant to be hung. Overall a great light which I'm sure is actually made by some generic company and just badged (and marked up) by Honeywell.

Link shows $31.99 online, $36.99 in-store. Maybe your area is running a different sale.

They don't seem to list the color temperature and it is important to get the temperature you want (5000K is recommended for work lighting).

If you just need a few lights for infrequent use in the garage or basement, these are probably fine. If you lighting a hobby garage or something where they will be used a lot, the Sams lights may be a better choice due to higher reliability, brand name, color temp, and support.

I am seeing $31.99. Am I doing something wrong?

I ordered 2 more from Sam's. Picked up 2 the last time they were on-sale and I'm pretty happy with them. I wish they had an easier way to flush mount them though. I fabbed a mount for the last one, but didn't like it. Gotta come up with a better way to mount the lights.
