Good deal but I'm sitting here asking myself what I have that takes these... I don't think I have a single item other than maybe a maglite that takes these.
They sell adapters to convert AA batteries to C and D size batteries. Don't think the charge lasts as long but being that AA batteries are less expensive they may be a good option for those that don't use Ds too often.

Well, the overall output would be drastically reduced. It works, but at much lower brightness in the case of lights and for less time in everything.

I have a maglite and some other big flashlight that takes them, as well as an old ipod 30 pin stereo/boombox. One of the last time northeast took a hit from the hurricane, i was looking for some d cells in walmart, staples, and home depot. None of them carried them anymore, not just not in stock but no longer put on shelves. C was as big as they went.
