No, you can not just buy the phone without a postpaid plan on Verizon. That doesn't mean you can't pay off the phone and cancel after the fact.

Can I change the shipping address when I am financing with Verizon?

• Carrier Financing with Verizon requires the shipping address to match the billing address.

• If you are an existing carrier user of Verizon, you can change the billing address with your carrier.

• If you are a new carrier user of Verizon, you will have to keep the same address used for the credit review and approval during the APPLICATION page.

Will there be a chargeback if I don't activate the new device?

Is this bill credits or an instant discount?
Nobody knows for sure, but in the past, it's been an instant discount. If it's the same this time, that means you'll also save on sales taxes (with bill credits, you get charged tax upfront on the full, undiscounted cost of the phone).

I don't see this deal on their black friday page!
When their first BF deals went live at midnight EST Sunday morning, the leaks of upcoming deals were no longer shown. We won't know for sure until midnight EST on Thursday morning/Wednesday night, but there's no indication so far that the deal has disappeared.
