GoFundMe advice

I am NOT asking for money for my campaign. I am asking for brainstorming on how to get this going to help me get my family back on its feet.
I was the victim of a home burglary on Thanksgiving Day. I don't have Renter's Insurance (don't want to go into the reason why here) and lost pretty much everything. My GoFundMe to help my family get back on its feet hasn't really gotten anywhere. I am looking for advice on what to do to help it get out and spread and maybe find people that are willing to donate to the cause.
I have a former Playboy Playmate (from 1969) that opened the GoFundMe for my family. She has posted it on her Facebook fan page.
The campaign lists what happened, a list of some of the things that were taken and videos from the security system that were directly uploaded to the Internet that were completed before the network router was taken down. It has a list of things that needs to be replaced and an estimated cost. It goes into the background of each of us and what we have done for the community. There is a link to a "newsboard" type site where the issue is openly discussed and even mentions someone needs to do a GoFundMe but nobody did anything. The campaign states that there were other funds donated through another organization but that paid for the replacement of passports and a few other things not listed that are not part of this campaign.
There are photos of the police report with redacted sections of the full address, a couple of last names and signatures. I don't want people to know our full address nor the last name of a friend that helped us. Signatures were blocked out for obvious reasons.
Can you think of anything else that might be tried to help us?

OP, unless you're a cute little child dying of some horrible disease, you're unlikely to get much money from Go Fund Me. And also, passports, you want people to pay to replace your passports? Seriously?
And finally, what's with the culture of shared responsibility? You obviously have money for IP cameras that aren't cheap, but you don't have money for renters insurance and/or to replace your passport? It sucks what happened to you, I agree, but why should your friends or a bunch of strangers online help you rebuild your personal wealth? What's next, you under-insured your car and need money to repair it? Shit, I want a Ferrari, maybe I should start a gofundme? If I get $1 from 500k people, I can get the sports car! You know what else, my house is too small, can I have $10M to buy a mansion?

I see this way too often these days. Something "tragic" happens and instantly the "victim" puts out their hands as though everyone needs to jump up and save them.
Yep, this sucks.. However, renters insurance is cheap as fark. I pay $150 for $20k of personal property + other shit. This is for the entire year! There is zero reason to not get renters insurance.
No one should jump up to replace this shit for you, that's what renters insurance is for... Some of this replacement stuff sounds so trivial like your passports? It's not like they stole your whole house and everything in it. Take out a personal loan or save up until you can replace stuff. Buy cheap replacements at goodwill or whatever. How ridiculous to assume others should make you whole.
Where we are is OUTSIDE the US where firearms are pretty much banned.

Basically you are now blaming the victim for having things stolen. I gave up my job to come down here to help with a charitable cause - Earthquake relief. While doing that, I decided to start working on a PhD.
If you want to find out what is wrong with the United States, just look in the mirror. Greed, unwillingness to help others that are in need and much more are displayed in your rant. Our country used to care about their neighbors, rewarded people for helping others and a lot more. What happened to that United States of America? I remember it quite well from 20 years ago.
I personally am ready in case they come in when I am at home.
Proper training gives you the confidence to eliminate threats. Once a person enters my home, I am trained to assess the threat to our lives.
I will take care of the problem. You can be sure of that.

All kidding aside, I'm sorry this happened...but thanks for being a good sport.

By the way, she is getting NOTHING from the calendar sales. Usually people do that illegally and do not have the rights to the photos. It truly sucks for her.

When people WANT to help, they do. But expecting people to help you replace your things is a little different than benevolent help.

OP - you're in a shitty situation, good luck!
