What are you smoking?
this $499 at bf time, and then came to $450 at some point of time. looks like its a piece of shit nobody wants it.. reviews are bad about quality of this laptop.. crashing problem.. i believe acer service is a big issue too.
I bought this for $450 a few weeks ago and just returned it. The screen was fine for me, but I'm not a screen snob and only look at the screen straight on. Definitely better than my old Asus tn screen I'm used to. With the optane it was slightly slower than the $500 pavilion x360 with an SSD that I got from Microsoft, but overall got a slightly better passmark score. The reason I returned is I didn't like the keyboard at all, very shallow key press and not comfortable for me to type on, additionally the number pad (which I use often) is very compressed, with a small zero button; just not for me long term. I think if you don't mind the keyboard, and if you are ok with removing the optane and adding one of the many good priced m.2 ssds that are available recently, this is a steal of a deal.

If I hadn't picked up a 7th gen i7 Acer from the Walmart clearance last summer I'd consider this. Backlit keyboards seem rare at this price point and that is a feature I miss. FWIW I have no quality issues with my three Acers, two are 4+ years old.

Can we use some kind of a coupon to bring it down to 350?

Are you sure the Dell doesn't have a fingerprint reader? On Office Depot's page it doesn't mention having one in their description, but mentions it down the page in Dell's own product overview.

Reviews online appears to have USB c port. Does this model have it? Specs dont show it? NVM it does have it. Still trying to figure out what the port standards are.

I second that the Dell has a fingerprint reader.

Can anyone speak to how the 16gb Optane compares to the traditional SSD in the Dell?
