Lou Malnati's $5 off $20 Coupon

If you're fortunate to live by a Lou Malnati's pizza restaurant in Chicago [loumalnatis.com], then you might want to sign up for Malnati Mail [fishbowl.com].

"Who doesn't like being in a club full of people who have good taste? Plus, once you're a member you'll receive a gift for joining, a gift on your birthday and the latest insider information from Lou Malnati's delivered straight to your inbox."

The gift for joining is a $5 off $20 coupon, which isn't spectacular but it's still the biggest coupon I've seen for Lou's. I'm not sure what the birthday gift is.

On a side note, my favorite pizza is their Deep Dish Buttercrust Spinach, and they also have great sausage patties. Actually, everything is great, especially their house salad.

Enjoy!

Everyone who likes deep dish says it's great. Once I ordered a Taste of Chicago pack FedEx'd to me in IA. It was Malnati's pizza, (some good vendor's) hot dogs, and Eli's cheesecake. I gotta' say, not impressed. All 3 were subpar. It was $70 or more. None of them were very good. They're all reported to be excellent, so I have to believe ordering pre-made food via FedEx w/cooler isn't the way to go.

Any pizza with the sauce on top of the cheese is a different creature.

I've got one within walking distance (chicago area), thanks for the post. I'm going to take advantage of this tonight.

Lou Malnati's is great. Much better than Gino's East and Pizzaria Uno.

BTW, The pizza you get at the restaurant is much better than the mail order stuff.

I've signed up for this email club too and have been invited to Food Network tapings and other events. I've always been invited to the Buffalo Grove location so doesn't know if that makes a difference in sign up...

Gino's is my favorite, with Lou's second. Luckily I have both within walking distance. Big Grin

Any open units in that building? That's about as good as it gets.

Gino's and Lou's > Uno's and Giordano's

Though between Gino and Lou, it's just what I'm in the mood for that day. Thanks!

Lou's pizza is AWESOME, my favorite. I have had the mail order pizza and agree as well that it's NO comparison. The fresh in store is WAY better. Had an experience where I had ordered 1 cheese and 1 sausage shipped to a friend's place that i was visiting out of state. The Cheese was okay, but the sausage pizza tasted off. I called back into the ordering center to tell them about it and they shipped another one out free. The replacement was a little better, but still not close to the real thing. Not a fan of Gino's, as I don't like their sauce. And I hear Uno's in the burbs is different than Uno's in the city, as the burbs is not under the same franchise, so they don't have the same recipe. Giordano's is good too, but you have to be in the in the mood for stuffed pizza, though still very satisfying.

thanks for the heads up. i was planning to try out all the chicago stuffed pizzas via mail order (i'm out of state), but i guess i'll skip Lou's. i've already tried Giordano's, and i didn't like it too much (way too cheesy!).

if anyone can recommend any other chicago pizza mail orders, i'd appreciate it!

Pizano's > *

Unfortunately they don't have shipping yet. I was going to order the 4 pack today but I'm glad I read this. I figured it wouldn't be as good as in the store but instead I will just get the 2 pack.
