Went to HF today; Was able to use one 20% off coupon on a clearance item. Guess the rules have changed again. Also found out that the restriction on 20% coupons only applies to the specific items on sale this weekend. Could use 20% off coupons on anything else in the store. You have to walk around with the sale paper in your hands and check that they are not on sale that weekend. But you still can only use one coupon per day. Bummer!!! I really appreciated the time the Raleigh, NC store manager took to explain the 20% off coupon restrictions to me. Its guys like him that make shopping at HF fun.

Yeah both the Raleigh and Durham managers seem like pretty good guys. I usually go to the one on Capital but I went to the Durham one recently and was finally able to use a few rainchecks that were almost a year old! Durham seems to have a better selection on some things, like the storehouse assortments for instance.

Some are not so good but most are well worth the money. With there hand tools if you keep the recite, they are warranted for life. With most items at HF web site you will see a 1-5 star rating. & yes they post bad ratings. I have been shopping with them for 2 years now, and love them.
Example I needed a 12" Sliding Miter saw cost $600.00 new at the hardware store or $150.00 to rent for a week.
At Harbor Fright with a coupon I was able to get 1 for $110.00. (a 2 year Extended warranty cost $20.00 for a total of $130.00 still less than I could rent 1 for a week)
Now the $600.00 saw is a better saw but not $500.00 better. At the time the way I looked at it if it lasted the week I need it than it paid for itself.
I have used it for over a year now still going strong & i love it.
Once again most of there tools are well worth the moneynodSmilieEmbarrassmentlaugh out loudyummyworship

When you don't want to impart any texture onto the part you're blasting, like on delicate parts with critical machined surfaces. Soda blasting uses industrial granulated baking soda that breaks down upon impact, making the soda almost non-recyclable (you technically can, but with each impact it gets finer and finer, until its all dust).

Sand / glass beads can also lodge themselves in nooks and crannies in a part, which can be difficult to remove later. Soda dissolves in water, so it washes away completely.

Or if you want to get the paint off fiberglass, sand/glass bead will destroy the fiberglass, where baking soda is mild enough to remove the paint without damaging the gelcoat.

what do y'all think of anything HF has to offer against this

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00265M9TM

I like it's 4-stroke, no fuel mixing. The free shipping makes me think it's really a $170 item.

All Power Customer Service really sucks. And good help ya if you need to talk to engineering there even more worthless. But for the money I don't know if you could do better.
If I was you I would get it from Walmarts at least way if it sucks you can at least take it back.
