This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Hey all, I am back for a second. I wanted to check in again. I am behind still. This first week home is turning out to be very difficult, but I am thankful to be here though!! nod

I am not able to be on the computer for long at all. I get VERY DIZZY from it. My eyes just aren't ready to do much right now. I am really trying to be patient, but days are sooo long. I can barely do things right now. No reading books either right now, makes my eyes hurt Frown So LOTS (Sadwalk) of TV watching right now. I watched the entire first season of a show I had never seen in a little over a day Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Anyways, trying to not feel to sorry for myself right now, like I said, I am THANKFUL to be here, just hard time adjusting.

I hope you are all doing ok!! Blowkiss

Hey, Ariel---

TAKE A BREAK!!!

Seriously, we all understand, and recovery is a process that can take some time. Don't push yourself, my type-A friend. Relax. Have a Dr. Pepper. Sing songs with the kids. Knit something.

No SlickDealing for you!!!

Glad you're back, doll! hug

hug Take it easy A. I know that's hard for you to do, but you need to rest and give your body time to heal. It will take a couple of weeks for you to get your bearings. We're all thinking of you Blowkiss

So just wondering people's opinions of the Pink Dyson from T? It's clearanced to $279.xx at some stores and $33x.xx at others. Don't know why the price discrepancy, but whatever. Is it worth it? Does it work that much better than the cheaper brands? Do you think it'll go lower soon? I don't want to buy it and then have it go 50% off! Decision decisions...
I don't have a pink, I have a teal/purple I got for $300 at Sam's a few xmas's ago. I LOVE IT!
We shed heavily(yes the people) plus two long haired dogs and two long haired cats, we where spending $100-200 ever 12-18 months as our vacuums basically burned up the motors triing to keep up with the hair and lint in our house. I have had the dyson for 3 yrs now and still going as good as when I first bought it!

I don't know about the pink Dyson, but I have the DC 17 one (for animals) and it is wonderful. It worked so much better than my old vaccum. When we first got it (about three years ago) I used it in our living room where I had just vaccumed with the older vaccum and was apalled at how much the Dyson picked up in just a small square of the carpet. I had to dump the filter about 4 times for the whole living room - I gave away my old vaccum and have not looked back. It's great!!

I got the red dyson that was clearanced out at T last summer... I liked it so much that my sister and my aunt got one too laugh out loud I've had tons of people ask me about it when they come over - if it does as well as it says... so then I have to demonstrate... it's kind of embarrassing how much cat fur always ends up in the dyson after vacuuming underthe dining room table Crylol

Thanks for all the info! I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy it. We have a crappy hoover that I got on Amazon and it doesn't pick anything up, so after I vacuum, I have to sit there and pick up everything little thing. It drive me nuts!
