This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Anyone ever get and use a 10% off remaining items on your baby registry? A friend recently received one and consulted with me on it. It says same day only, an entire day of shopping. Wondering if that's true or will it continue as long as you have items on your registry. She's going to do a large order but there are always straggler items afterwards. Thanks.
If they are coded anything like the reg. 10% all day passes, it will scan expired if you use it a 2nd day

I was thinking of buying three binders, like cd cases that zip all around so stuff doesn't fall out. One for Valassis, RedPlum and P&G. Then once cut, just seperate them by date. But somehow I can never seem to keep up. Maybe it's because I'm chasing after le bebe all day long! laugh out loud
It's really a matter of personal preference. I use the binder with baseball cards so I can see each coupon. Then I have them seperated by store, T in the front and K in the back.

I didn't like the accordian file ones because I had to flip through all the coupons in a section when I was looking for a certain one.

Some use the larger index file boxes (similar to the pic bbluesky posted) which seem to be easier than the accordian file ones, when you're looking for a q.

I have three small(ish) accordian file things, one for K, one for T and one for CVS. I prep them with all the coupons that I might need for that particular store before I go and bring them with me into the store... I have ADD so I frequently forget things. Seriously, some times I 'leave" home 4 or 5 times before I actually drive away. God help me if I left my coupon holders at home! LMAO My husband makes fun of me for it all the time.

As for the box, I'd have to go with the big one myself! Big Grin

Hmm, has anyone tried the big cd cases that zipper all the way around? I wonder if you could put couponsin the plastic cd holder areas or if they'd fall out too easily?
You are my husband. He did that this morning. Went out to truck got in, came back in house for lunch, got back in truck closed garage door, opened garage door, came back in for coffee mug, got back in truck, closed garage door, drove down street, drove back, opened garage door came back in for wallet EEK!

Ummmm he's had the same routine for 3 years. One would think it would set in.

Hmm, I think the binder would keep me more organized. I just looked at an empty cd binder, it woulkd work except the pages aren't removable, which would definately be inconveinant.

DM, so what do you do when you have a coupon that you have "many" (Teehee) copies of - do you have to put it in a few of the baseball card sleeves?

I thought of the idea of using a CD binder, but IDK... I think I might just have to go for the initial one that I posted a pic of...

oh was going to say about those large coupon container things - yes, they do expect you bring them into the store. that's why their descriptions will sometimes say "fits in the child seat area of the grocery cart" ... couldn't they at least make them fashionable, like say, get together with Coach to design a coupon holder? LMAO pretzels would like that Wink

Just thinking about SB and hoping that she and little Andreas have settled in at home and that he is not throwing too many middle of the night parties.

I have both the baseball card sleeves and I got photo sleeves (for photo albums) that hold (3) 4 x6 photos to a page. I got those for the larger q's so most of my "multiples" fit into one sleeve

Well Coach did hop on the Ipod case train (which I got mega clearanced just in time for them to stop making the original Ipod shuffle laugh out loud), maybe they'll jump on the coupon band wagon since so many people are starting to clip coupons now. Of course we'll have to wait until they are mega clearanced, and who knows when that'll be Big Grin
